Why I’m Here…

why im here

Life has a way of chiseling us into form, often through the fires we never imagined enduring. For me, it has been through the deep, often unbearable adversity—through a life lived intimately with grief, loss, and profound change—that I found my path.

When I speak of loss, I mean the kind that reshapes everything. I lost my brother and, not long after, my twin girls, born prematurely. And while grief was ever-present, I was also facing my own battle with cystic fibrosis, a condition that shaped my life in ways I didn’t always understand until I began to deeply connect with my body and nervous system.

It was through these compounded experiences that I stumbled upon the work that became my life’s mission—somatic healing, the profound science of nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection that so many, including myself, were missing. It was in the moments of feeling completely severed from my own life, my own body, that I discovered the immense power of the nervous system, the body’s instinctive wisdom to heal, connect, and return us to ourselves.

My mission is simple: I stand for truth. For love. For the bold, unrelenting belief that healing is possible for anyone who dares to face their shadows and bring their pain into the light. I am here as a guide, not because I know all the answers, but because I’ve walked this path and continue to do so. I’m committed to living within my original blueprint, my core Self, and guiding others to do the same through the deprogramming and reprogramming that’s so central to healing.

Family, Freedom, and Fullness

As a mother of two, raising my wild ones on our homestead on Vancouver Island, family is at the heart of my life’s work. I believe that wellness extends beyond the individual—it’s woven into the fabric of our relationships, our home, and how we live day to day. Our journey into food sovereignty, unschooling, and living intentionally is not just about opting out of systems that don’t serve us—it’s about stepping into a deeper sense of freedom. The kind of freedom that brings more connection, more fulfillment, and more depth into our lives.

I’m passionate about family wellness, about how we relate to one another in relationships and sexuality, about how we live and structure our days—whether that’s through circadian biology, parenting, or home learning. My vision of freedom is one that allows us to live fully in our truth, without glass ceilings, and to embrace the boundless potential that exists when we heal. I know firsthand the ways unhealed trauma can create limits and ceilings that prevent us from fully stepping into our lives.

We are, all of us, at a time of radical change. For those who crave more, who know there’s a deeper, more connected, more meaningful way to live, I am here beside you. Not as a teacher or a savior, but as someone who has been shaped by this path, who walks it with you, devoted to the evolution of what’s possible.

My mission is to stand for love, for integrity, for the radical courage it takes to choose healing and to reshape not only our lives but the world around us. Healing is your greatest life work, and I’m here to help you begin or deepen that journey.
