“I carry your heart everywhere I go, so that when I loose mine I can fall onto yours for a while” ~ Zoey Ann. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Often when I work with womxn I ask them who’s heart they admire – who there mentors are? I ask them why, why they admire their hearts? And through a process and deeper excavation of Self they begin to realize that they too hold the same qualities – they may just not be letting them shine, or life may have made it difficult for them to let it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, if you’re new to this idea of carrying the mentorship of hearts you admire, I recommend you try it on. Allow the mergence of her/their heart with yours to grow inside of you until you begin to recognize it as your own.
The people who you admire are everything.
So keep those admirable hearts close, so that when life hands you storms and your heart closes you have the support of a symbolic signature that you can trust is shaped close to your own. ⠀

In this moment, I tribute two very special women’s hearts I carry that help to remind me of who I am. They’ve both helped me to grow a container to transmute grief and let it move in the way I need it to. I love you both so freaking much  @sarahmanjo and @kristincampbellyoga. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
